Equip our scouts

Find out how you can support this campaign below

Our scouts are responsible for protecting Kasanka and Lavushi Manda National Parks from poachers and illegal loggers.  Their role is vital.  The scouts work hard to apprehend poachers, take down snares and protect villages from animal incursions.  Equipping the scouts and paying their salaries takes up a vast amount of the Trust’s resources.  Any assistance with funding in this area would be hugely appreciated.

What the scouts do

  • They protect the wildlife.
  • Keep the park safe.
  • Remove animal snares.
  • Put out bush fires

How your donation will help

    • $2,000 will pay 1 scout’s salary for a year, his uniform, equipment and expenses incurred through prosecutions.
