The Kasanka Trust has always relied heavily of the work of volunteers and we remain extremely grateful for their support.

Clerk / Bookkeeper
Time frame: Three years
Start Date: Immediately
The Clerks core responsibility is to carry out all book keeping and associated administrative and statutory requirements of KTL. For more information on the specific ToR, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org .
Required Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary level qualification in accounting; 3+ years’ experience in a bookkeeper role; Computer literate (including Pastel or similar accounting software); Excellent English communication skills.
Optional but Desired Qualifications and Experience: Experience working for not-for-profit companies and on donor-funded projects.
Important Additional Requirements: Willingness to live in a remote area with limited access to amenities; Willingness to work in a team and to carry out supporting duties outside of the normal job description as and when requested by management to ensure effective operations; Zambian Citizenship or Residency

Volunteer Diesel Mechanic
Time frame: 6 months to 1 year
Start Date: Immediately
We’re looking for a volunteer who loves the outdoors and can help fix vehicles with scarce resources. Someone who can make the most out of little and has a positive outlook on life. The trust can offer accommodation on site and the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in an amazing environment!

Before applying, it's important to note that volunteers will have to cover the cost of their living whilst at Kasanka. They will have to make their own way to Lusaka, but from there Kasanka can assist in organising their transport to the national park. All volunteer experiences are unique and details will be arranged with Kasanka management prior to commencement.
