Wildlife based tourism can contribute significantly toward the financial sustainability of Protected Area Management, and at the same time provides a source of employment for communities living in the periphery of the protected areas. Kasanka Trust employs up to 100 staff, most of whom are from the local communities. In order for us to attract more local and international tourists, we need to bring the facilities to a higher standard and to provide more booking opportunities throughout the year.
