Please support Kalaba who lost his entire family to a tragic fire
We are making all possible efforts to raise money for Kalaba Kalasa who lost his entire family including his wife and five children with the youngest being 6 months old to a fire that broke out in Chalilo village, a small community close to Kasanka National Park and is supported by Kasanka Trust Ltd (KTL). Kalaba is KTL’s oldest employee and does not have any kind of support to fully recover from this great loss.
As KTL, despite all our efforts, we are falling short of ZMW 170,000 ($10,000) which will go a long way in rebuilding Kalaba’s home and covering all funeral expenses. We are appealing to all well-wishers to support Kalaba’s recovery during this extremely trying moment by donating towards this cause
I could not believe what had happened. I was at work and was called to come home because my house had burned down. I wondered how because we never used paraffin or candles in our house but fluorescent tubes. I saw and talked to my wife before she died in the hospital and she had no idea how the fire started and explained how difficult it was for them to come out – Kalaba Kalasa
