Chongololo Clubs’ Eco-garden 1st sales!

For some time now, we have been sharing the amazing devotion of the Chongololo club students keeping their eco-garden going strong, even in the face of adversity during the Covid-19 outbreak, and now we are so proud to share with you their first time ever garden sales.

The garden has opened its doors to Mulembo village and the rest of the Chitambo community members  to buy fresh and healthy vegetables after a short presentation on the importance of adopting conservation farming. The students raised  K150 from  its first sales this month.

The profits will be used to buy seeds and other resources needed to continue preserving the garden. The project has already shown signs of its sustainability, and the club members are very enthusiastic. We are all looking forward to the future sale of tomato’s and eggplants. Stay posted!
